Online Counselling, Relationship and Sex Therapy
Gaining insight, in to how significant relationships, and events have affected you, will provide an understanding of why you feel, communicate and act the way you do. Therapy will loosen the emotional knots that have held you back, leading to greater confidence in what matters to you.
Since 2006, I have helped individuals and couples put words to the feelings, that would otherwise remain painful or unresolved. People often start therapy, without knowing what's wrong, but just knowing something isn't right.
Working together you'll gain a new outlook on your circumstances enabling you to;
-
Let go of past hurt
-
Make choices
-
Take charge of your life
-
Find a way forward

Sex therapy is not just for couples, and it can address a wide range of sexual health concerns. You can discuss anything, including what might otherwise feel taboo. I have particular experience of working with the following issues;
-
A lack of self love or self compassion
-
Problems in relationships (Sex, Fidelity, Conflict)
-
Low Sexual Desire "Cant be bothered"
-
A difficulty in trusting others
-
Sexual Anxiety
-
Feeling irritated frustrated or angry
-
Interest in kink, fetish and non-monogamous relationship models
-
Thoughts that can't be got rid of
-
Self-Sabotage when in relationships
-
Putting other peoples needs, before your own.
-
A difficulty in getting things done
-
Problematic use of the internet
-
Fear of failure
The Approach
The approach is kind, genuine and non-judgmental. During our initial sessions, we will delve into the issues at hand, and collaborate to create a plan for addressing them in a way that helps you get your life back. Most clients see a gradual lifting of symptoms within the first month and sustained improvement thereafter.
I use a number of different therapeutic approaches, psychodynamic, person centred, cognitive behavioural and adlerian where each person is viewed as an individual with different needs from the therapy process.
I draw on experience from working in the public, private and charity sectors. I have worked as a counselling lecturer, and have also been a trustee for a large mental health charity.
